About

Hello beautiful humans, I'm so happy you are here!

I'm Angel, a writer, maker and seeker of things.

Here's a brief outline of my current self:
- free spirited & clumsy, but pretty serious about keeping things tidy & organized-- a living paradox of sorts.
- 22
- Bachelor's in journalism.
- strives to love fully
- drinks coffee like water (needs to drink more water)
- self proclaimed thrifting expert
- loves Jesus
It's important to know I really love my dog, Nala.
She loves people and blankets.
She's the sweetest-- doesn't have a mean bone in her little body.
Oh, and this man. He loves reading the news and making people laugh. He's almost as sassy as me and he always sees the positive side, something I'm not as good at. He's been in my life since we were 14. Six years have passed, and there's been a lot of growth in that time. We're engaged and life is uncertain, but I'm certain I want to live it with him.

This little space of mine came to be when I decided I wanted a creative outlet that encapsulated all of my favorite art forms: writing, photography and design. But mostly I wanted to provide a space that was authentic and judgement free-- a space where readers like you can feel safe, understood, inspired and encouraged, as you grow alongside me. You'll find a mix of things here, but what I hope you'll find most is honesty and growth: a place of authenticity.

It means a whole lot that you stopped by.

  1. Came across your article titled "Why you should hold on to the past" and absolutely loved it! I loved how descriptive and balanced your writing is! And more than that, I connected with it as I found myself challenged and encouraged to embrace to direction I believe God is leading me as I am about to move to a new city and start a new job. So thank you. P.S. when I read in your description on Converge that you want to write children's books, I thought that was so awesome. So please do, and one day should I get married and have kids, I'll be looking to buy some of your children's books! ;)
